Tuesday 7th August 2007 at Villamartin. The course is playing short because the tees are being brought up to scratch but this did not make my scoring any better as my approach shots to the greens and the putting were frankly awful. I did manage to keep up my record of getting a nearest the pin prize at the 170 metre 13th hole but this did not make up for my poor general play. Next course to play is El Plantio and I am hoping for better things there. No photograph with this report because I could not even manage to take a decent one of those - a bad day getting even worse. On the positive side the company was good and the drink after a very hot round of golf went down really well.Brian in sunny Spain.

The Story so far
The courses played so far - Las Ramblas, Villamartinn, Campoamor, La Finca, La Serena and Roda Golf - results after a longish layoff since leaving the UK were very average - Since these I have joined a Society and now play every two weeks and results appear to be improving slowly.The Society is called Happydayz and is named after a bar on the Cabo Roig strip. Since joining thes we have played La Marquesa at Qesada twice and El Plantio all these courses are top class and the facilities brilliant - only trophies so far are for nearest the pin 1 at El Plantio and 1 at La Marquesa.Posted
